Minnesota Supports Muslim Prayer Rooms at CollegesReader comment on item: Other Taxpayer-Funded American Madrassas Submitted by Bill (United States), Dec 18, 2007 at 19:43 Good evening, Thought you might find this articles by Katherine Kersten interesting. Katherine Kersten: Normandale's 'meditation room' is home to a single faith at http://www.startribune.com/local/12551256.html If there weren't moves by groups to remove vestiges of other religions like Nativity Scenes or the Ten Commandants; if there were not separation of genders in a state that has been a leader in inclusiveness of women; if there were not literature promoting dislike of Jews and Christians, I would still care be concerned about my taxes providing public space for religions. I am shocked that Minnesota, using my tax dollars, is funding such misogyny. This is just wrong. Thanks, Bill
