Israel will survive

Reader comment on item: Zionism's Bleak Present

A comparison of Israel to Nazi Germany is obsene. Israel is surrounded by enemies, conspiring to destroy the tiny Jewish homeland. U.S. leaders should not be pushing Israel to give up more land, or to divide Jerusalem! Israel is a nation that was created by God. Just as Mr. Daniel Pipes points out, Israel is threatened by her neighbor's on all sides.

The U.S. government should stop insisting that Israel give up more land, to appease the terrorist sponsoring states of Iran, Syria and others. Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas are all determined to " Wipe Israel off the map." The United Nations' leadership and member states must speak up clearly when Iran's Ahmadinejad declares the destruction of Israel is in his vision of the Middle East. U.S. citizens need to be informed by our leaders that Israel WILL be defended by the U.S., if attacked by any terrorist sponsoring state, or any powerful terrorist group supported by such states. I personally stand with Israel and her people. I pray America never forsakes Israel, lest we suffer Gods wrath. America is not a Judao-Christian nation in name only, we are dedicated to the survival of Jewish Israel---or so the story goes.
