I note your comments concerning Palestine pre 1948 .

The irony of the 1948 War of Independance is that had the Arab league accepted the United Nations Resolution instead of declaring a war of annhilation on the formative state of Israel then the Palestinian population would not have been uprooted.

The refugee crisis caused as a result of that war is complex. The main cause of population movement as is the case in all wars was a need to flee from the actual war zone itself in order to survive. There is no doubt that in addition the Arab League called upon the indigenous population to vacate their homes whilst the fighting was at its peak promising them a speedy return to a Jew free land . Finally it is true that some Palestinian villages suffered at the hands of the Israeli militia and were made to leave their homes. As in any war nothing is black and white .The question of apportioning blame for what took place 60 years ago will not resolve the ongoing problem .

Today there are over one million Arab Israelis who did not flee and have a considerably better life and standard of living then Arabs in neighbouring lands. If this was not so they would not choose to stay unlike the million or so Jews who were expelled from Arab lands with barely the clothes on their backs.

It is not feasible for Israel to accept the return of Palestinian refugees created as a result of a war instigated by the Arabs. It does not require rocket science that this is merely a further attempt by the Arabs to liquidate Israel as Jewish state by means of demographic shift. It simply will not occur.

I suggest you read the Hamas covenant .It is quite transparent in the need to liquidate Israel and the removal of every last Jew .

I think you will agree that regretfully ther can be no dialogue with such mindset.
