Use the Koran against the Jihadists...

Reader comment on item: On Being Borked

Submitted by Debra T (United States), Aug 27, 2003 at 17:34

I hope Dr. Pipes and/or his colleagues would point out scriptures in the Koran that denounce activities promoted by the frenzied jihadists:

a) the slaughter of innocent civilians during war
b) forced conversions to Islam and/or torture of those who convert to Christianity
c) suicide-murders masquerading as 'martyrdom'.

I have seen evidence from my brief study of the Koran that scriptures denouncing the above activities exist. Why not use the authority of the Koran to expose these manipulative war-mongering phonies for the heretics they are?! Evidently, the masses who feed on their rhetoric need to know the truth.
