The circus sideshow is over--I hopeReader comment on item: On Being Borked Submitted by William Kinney (United States), Aug 27, 2003 at 01:52 Thanks to President Bush for sparing us a full Senate debate on this routine sensible appointment of someone who knows a great deal about the subject matter to the US Institute of Peace. Mr. Pipes' amazing wealth of detailed current information will be available to explode many attempts to float vague nice-talk alibis and generalities on the Institute. He seems "soft on settlements" as I might phrase it, but his ability to bring in relevant detail in enormous breadth is without rival.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
