Why USA should continue giving help to Israel.....

Reader comment on item: Why does the world hate America?

I have a question. If you were to debate the issue of how the USA should continue to give support to Israel. What would you point out for many to see how important it is to help this nation who has helped the USA in so many ways ( military, technology etc....) ... what would you point out and what are your opnions on this topic. And how would you argue the against side to this issue....

I am against U.S. financial aid to Israel because I see this as distorting the Israeli economy, costing the U.S. taxpayer, and creating a political diversion.
