I disagree Dennis It's not all australian youth at all. Just some suburbs. usually where there is a heavy migrant population learning english from the teev. Or, you live in Sydney where there's always been a lot of kings cross yanks.They'll grow out of it. I remember back in the 60's when the yanks were here for R&R we used to put on a yank accent just to pick up the sheilas.
