Reader comment on item: [Symposium:] Why Does the World Hate America?

Submitted by Dennis (Australia), Aug 27, 2006 at 18:30

I've noticed the latest generation of kids in Australia are very americanized. More so than my generation, i actually rember we were quite anti american. But this generation is just lapping it up. Walking and talking like gangster rappers, i've even heard kids with an american accent, that have never lived there. Its all over the TV, its hard to find anything not American on it now. So the next generation will turn Australia into America for sure, if it already hasn't.
