Learning from Europe's mistakes

Reader comment on item: [Symposium:] Why Does the World Hate America?

Submitted by Gabriel Grosso (United Kingdom), Jan 21, 2003 at 20:03

As a European who lives in London, I am very worried by the rise of Militant Islam. London is one of the world's capitals of Militant Islam. A few years ago, the word 'jihad' was found only in history books. Now it is much closer to us. France is even closer to Shari'a than Britain. Do you know what the irony about all of this is? The irony is that we Europeans brought it on ourselves. In fact, the fascist Left bans any debate on Militant Islam. Those who express their views on Militant Islam get intimidated by the fascist Left. It is already too late for Europe. We are afraid of expressing our views. The fascist Left has been successful in making Militant Islam a taboo subject. It is something you are not suppoused to discuss. Am I paranoid? Not really. In America, you still have time to save yourselves. First of all, the Atlantic is much larger than the Mediterranean and the Middle East is far away. Secondly, as far as I know, the fascist Left is not very powerful in America. Therefore, there is a serious chance that you guys can have a rational debate about the totalitarian ideology of Militant Islam. If you can have a debate, then you might even succeed in saving your country. Europe has already reached the point of non-return. Am I a victim? A loser? No, I am just a realist. So, learn from our [negative] experience and accept 2 pieces of advice :
1) FIGHT AGAINST MILITANT ISLAM AND DEPORT ALL MUSLIM EXTREMISTS FROM THE USA
2) RESPECT NON-TOTALITARIAN MUSLIMS. INDEED, LAW-ABIDING MUSLIMS DESERVE ALL YOUR RESPECT AND TOLERANCE. NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE VIOLENT
