DrPipes is defending Israel more than the Israeli PM is

Blessings on Dr Pipes for his excellent articles and his elegant manner during Tv interviews.

What is pushing him on though? It is obvious that the western media and the sheeple of the West have not the stomach nor the passion for the fight and prefer to listen to President Bush who sounds more like a love child of the 60's with his latest disastrous speech about compassion, American thing to do. what nonsense to say in a time of war.

It is obvious that the US government of 2002 would not be able to conquer Nazi Germany or Imperialist Japan. Or even the British Invasion.

Or the fact that PM Sharon prefers to destroy empty buildings than to blowing up a certain Ramallah compound with a certain lower lip quivering madman in its basement. It is obvious that the Israel of 2002 would not be victorious in any of its previous wars given the retraining culture of its present government. If Israel has chosen to listen to President Bush than to do what is correct, ie, protect its children and women then it is not worth defending.

Peres may blame the Syrians for the massacre at Megiddo but I blame the Israeli government for not destroying the PA, Hamas and Islamic Jihad infrastructures.
