Go Tell it to the Jihadists

I would like to tell the esteemed cardiologist Dr. Hathout, please save your breath: don't preach us what is the real meaning of Jihad . He will do us a lot of good if he informed his fellow Muslims all over the world, his own sanitized glorified version of Jihad, people like Mr. Osama Bin Laden or Abu Saiaf and the suicide bombers in Israel. These are the folks he should be informing.. or is he afraid to be labeled an apostate?

I would sincerely ask Dr. Hathout, why is it forbiden for a Muslim to be able to change his religion, and why he would be subjected to death if he converted to another religion? Is it because Islam is the fight for the sake of God no matter what it takes i.e. Jihad in the name of The All Mighty, Merciful Allah?
