No complaint from ACLU and Americans United For Separation of Church and State?Reader comment on item: Jihad: The Fight Over Meaning Submitted by Debbie Walls (United States), Jun 6, 2002 at 09:48 I saw an excerpt of this 'My American Jihad' speech during an interview on the 'Today Show'. Basically this Harvard soon-to-be graduate is promoting a religion...Islam. It is curious that Rev. Barry Lynn, Founder of the Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and the ACLU, who are usually right there fighting anything to do with religion and graduation ceremonies, remain strangely quiet during this issue re: Harvard's graduation speech. I wonder how many Americans would want their tax money going to this institution, which has taken so much bin Laden money and Saudi Government money to promote Islam??!!Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
