Jihad means struggle, preferably struggle towards common good for oneselves and for all around you...that is what the sufis mean by spiritual jihad...and they know it because they themselves feel and witness it without a single doubt in there heart. Islam is not a religion of hate, fear, terrorism, and intolerance. It is a religion of peace, love, and tolerance, otherwise it would not spread and continue up to the present time.
