Proper etiquette on "Nightline"

Reader comment on item: Jihad: The Fight Over Meaning

Submitted by Irving D. Cohen (United States), Jun 7, 2002 at 00:07

I felt offended by Bury constantly addressing the MD by his titleof "Doctor", but constantly addressing Dr. Pipes as "Mister" Pipes.

Someone ought to remind the idiot who substitutes for Koppel that Ph Ds are to be addressed by the same respectful title as medical doctors, and especially so when the Ph D in question knows a Hell of a lot more about the subject mater than the quack!
