Read my comments.....NATO has become too politically fractious to fight terrorism. Witness what is happening in Afghanistan. From what I read in the news the brunt of the fighting is being fought by the Brits, Canadians, and Americans. NATO ally Germany passed a parlimentary resolution that prohibits German troops from leaving their deployment area in the north to assist their allies. Don't know what the Italians are doing. Poland is sending 900-1000 reinforcements in February. The other NATO allies.....nothing.
