Reader comment on item: Hugging Iraq's Leaders

Submitted by rench (United States), May 2, 2006 at 17:07

That is in part of our problem. Iraq has had more leaders in the past 3 or4 years then in its pre Sadam rule. This new guy will fare no better then the previous or the guy before him. No better then Bremer, no better then the in and out General. No matter what the spin is. The Iraqi government is barely a government, ya sure its trying, but thats barely cutting it. I dont know whats to be done about Iraq. For our victory in Iraq, nor for our victory in the war against Osama and the like. We may be in over our heads. But at least we must take an astute assessment of our policies.gauge for cost benefit and adjust appropriately. But even this is not viable. So in conclusion i'd say Hug'em close cause we may be going under.
