Dear Richard,

Are you really mean it when you said that "In the Koran the word love is not mention once"? You can't be serious? Can you imagine any religion doesn't talk about "love" on earth? I don't know which translation of Quran you knew but there are several electronic version of Quran with a search option. Just enter love as keyword you will see many verses talking about how Allah loves
- Verily, Allâh loves those who act justly. (5:42)
- Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with equity. (60:8)
- Verily! Allâh loves those who are equitable. (49:9)
- And Allâh loves the gooddoers. (5:93)
- And Allâh loves those who make themselves clean and pure. (9:108)
- And Allâh loves As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.). (3:146)
- ..then surely Allah loves those who guard (against evil) (3:76)
- surely Allah loves those who trust. (3:159)
- surely Allah loves those who are careful (of their duty). (9:4)

And (both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are the children of Allâh and His loved ones." Say: "Why then does He punish you for your sins?" Nay, you are but human beings, of those He has created, He forgives whom He wills and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allâh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and to Him is the return (of all). (6:18)

You said that "Jesus is the messiah that God promised the world since the time of Moses." Where is the name of Jesus specifically given in Jewish Bible? No where. Why Jews didn't accept him as a messenger during his life time? Jesus was Jewish. Jews don't have concept of Original Sin. Why did Jesus pay for the Original Sin? I don't think Jesus was aware of these man-made generated concept during his life time if he was really a Jewish.

Quran has also chronological order. There are some debates on the order but it is not important. I read Quran in both order. We Muslims know very well first revelations. Quran is not a collection of the letters of holly people. Let's read some verses from Paul's Galatia like a personal diary;
[17] Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
[18] Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days

Yo can't see such dairy like conversation in Quran which is word of God.

Similar to the story of Nimrod, Saul is never mention in Quran. Whoever he was is mentioned as Talut. Some might discuss historically who was him. Quran is not a history book. It mentions some stories so that people might take lessons from them.
