Dear Richard,

You said that "Abraham only went where God directed him" Why not Mecca?

Jewish Bible says Ishmael would "live in hostility toward all his brothers" (Genesis 16:11-12). Isn't it correct?

You said that "God never put such words in his prophets mouths." Our messenger was an illiterate man. Only God can put His words into mouth of an an illiterate man. Isn't that true?
If you compare life of Moses, Jesus and Muhammed, peace upon them, Moses is like Muhammed not like Jesus. Both Moses and Jesus leaded their nations, had a family and brought new law and order. The teaching of Jesus was a moral. He didn't bring a new law. He never leaded his nation. He was a single man. He talked about love but didn't feel the pain of loosing a child.

If the coming of Jesus his prophesied in the Jewish Bible then how do you explain that Jews never accepted him as a prophet during his life time?

let's read the following verses of Quran.

(1) Allâh is the Walî (Protector or Guardian) of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. But as for those who disbelieve, their Auliyâ (supporters and helpers) are Tâghût [false deities and false leaders, etc.], they bring them out from light into darkness. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, and they will abide therein forever. (2:257)

(2). Have you not looked at him who disputed with Ibrâhim (Abraham) about his Lord (Allâh), because Allâh had given him the kingdom? When Ibrâhim (Abraham) said (to him): "My Lord (Allâh) is He Who gives life and causes death." He said, "I give life and cause death." Ibrâhim (Abraham) said, "Verily! Allâh causes the sun to rise from the east; then cause it you to rise from the west." So the disbeliever was utterly defeated. And Allâh guides not the people, who are Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, etc.). (2:258)

Muslims claim that Tâghût is Nimrud others says not. Quran never mentions a specific name like Nimrud for anybody other than name of His messengers. Similarly, Quran mentions a Pharaoh but never gives a specific names.
