MCWS, MFS, and other organizations wanting to make the same of Detroit

The same thing is going on in the Detroit area. There are people who are trying to let the azan (prayer call) be sounded five times a day in public (this has gone to the city council; the council refused). There are organizations, like the Muslim Family Services www.reliefonline.org/mfs, who want Muslim women in troubled marriages to undergo Islamic marriage counseling (which does not give them many rights: husbands can be bigamous, can beat their wives, etc. And inheritance rules are sexist).

And there are people I have experienced, such as a few people I observed in the Muslim Community of Western Suburbs (MCWS) as an AMCWS affiliate (www.geocities.com/anti_mcws) who advocate first letting Shariah be the law for American muslims and for eventually bringing the United States and the world under Islamic rule.
