Moderates need to take responsibility

Reader comment on item: Enforce Islamic Law in Canada?

Submitted by John Giannasca (Australia), Oct 10, 2005 at 21:04

Moderate muslims, and I'm sure there are many ,need to step up to the plate. Surely you moderates who would never dream yourselves of living under the law of sharia can understand why we non muslims find the prospect that this law even exists as a perversion. Help yourselves by helping other muslims understand why we think its so bad, then and only then will you understand why Canada had to do what it did. If you moderates dont do it, then dont complain when you are all lumped into one basket.
