For any posters who never heard of her, I invite you to research Homa Arjomand, and her necessary flight from Iran. She is a remarkable woman, who fought valiantly against Shari'a in Canada. I have nothing but good to say about her, and she is an Iranian who suffered immensely under Shari'a in Iran and her story includes the loss of her family members, and close friends. I had been in touch with Homa Arjomand for about a year, but recently, lost touch with her when changing services. I met her thru a Canadian Program that hosted her as a guest and I wrote her. When I sent her a final E-mail contact, I begged her to protect herself because there are elements within Islam, who migrated along with her and others, that would silence her forever.
My thesis which is not negotiable, is that all people of all Nations deserve sound leadership. It is something most Nations lack, and in the face of Islamic aggression, something MANY FEMALE survivors of Islamist cultism, have fought because of the suffering associated with it, specifically as it pertains to women, minorities, and non-muslims, sound Leadership is what is so desperately needed in the World.
I am not sure how I feel about the religious arbitration, so long as it doesn't conflict with Canadian Law, being a bad thing. Religious of the Abramic faiths, could both benefit thru such legislation. However, to enforce Shari'a, in a non-Muslim Nation is something I have no desire to see at any point in the future, and I am sure Legislators decided that since they gave them an inch, and now they are pushing for full Shari'a, which is a total upheaval of their existing Laws, then the inch has to be taken back. Canadian Legislators opened a can of worms, here, and there will be no end to it now. It was not a rational decision to even consider Shari'a implementation in Canada.
