While there is no risk in sharing your prediction that Kadima will have a definite end as a format for the coalescence of political will in Israel in the longer term, you may be out on a long limb prognosticating that its achievements will be meagre. I do not share the view.
Given the picture as it is now-- a Sharon unrecognisable to some, but at the deep level where ot counts, still generally recognised the leader for the times-- it makes absolute sense. If anyone is going to bring off the best possible resolution of the existential torment Israeli citizens (and their well-wishers) have lived since statehood, so that they can live with justifiably reduced fear, this potentate will achieve much. Stay tuned.
