I agree with your prediction that the new party will not suceed. Sharon has moved from one position to another over the years and I believe he and this new party are simply an attempt to hold on to power. His belief in Israel as a jewish state does not really allow for opposition or for non Jews as full citizens. He is talking a good game of politics but it is all smoke and mirrors. There will be fall out and it will be bloody for citizens and non citizens alike.
