What is love in Christianity? Let's read what Jesus says

Hi everyone,

It is attributed to Jesus to have said:

(1) "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters--yes, even his own life--he can not be my disciple" (Luke 14:26).

What a conditional love is this. First of all you have to hate to be eligible as disciple so that you are supposed to love everybody. It doesn't make sense.

(2) "Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone to call him. A crowd was sitting around him and they told him, 'Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.' 'Who are my mother and my brothers?' he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said,' Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother.' " (Mark 3:31-35)

(3) "As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, 'Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.' He replied, 'Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.' " (Luke 11:27-28)

Where is the respect to mother and brothers ? was Virgin Mary against God Although she was chosen to give birth to a messenger?

It is very clear that there is no unconditional love in Christianity. One should first listens to God. I wonder if Christians really read their holy book(s) before talking about unconditional love.
