Regan, you say Islam and Arab culture teaches and is about hatred and violence. You are very wrong. You ought to read up on the religion of Islam. Islam means peace and submission to God. How can you say that shows terrorism? See, you must understand that what the Isas did to their daughter is very Un-Islamic and very inhumane. Islam teaches us the 10 commandments including thou shall not kill.
Sure, Tina's dad called himself a Muslim or Islamic. But to be a Muslim you cannot kill or harm anyone. So he is not a Muslim truly. Even Queen Noor of Jordan, being an American who converted to Islam did speak out against these crimes of honour. These have nothing to do with Islam. It's such individual's actions that are mean and hateful. So do not say that Islam is responsible for that. I am Islamic and I know my faith very well. None of my family or teachers ever talked or promoted about violence. Don't forget Christians have been guilty of such things too, at one point you were beheaded if you were not Christian. Such people said they were Christians. But they are not.
Culture, as well as individuals' mentality has absolutely nothing to do with RELIGION itself. I suggest you read up on Islam. Nor is 9/11 something to do with Islam or Arabism. Those people may have called themselves Muslims but how can they? We don't teach terrorism at all. After all, Hitler was white, Austrian, Christian likely, what do you think of him killing Jews and being of a white race? Surely, his religion and culture has nothing to do with the holocaust. I hope this clears the confusion... you have about Islam and Arabism.
