Tina was a friend of mine in High School. She was so amazing. For all she was going through at home, she was still so outgoing and happy. It was never a big secret, at least not to me, what was going on in her home. More than once I walked half way from my house to hers to meet her and bring her over just to get her away from her parents. She worked in her parents store everyday after school and hated it. She missed out on a lot to be there. It's tragic now, looking back, that I couldn't have done more to help her.
It's for someone else to judge her family, I just know what a wonderful person she was and what a loss it is for her to be gone. The book was difficult to read. It did leave a lot out but I would certianly recommend it. You are missed Tina!!!
