Zein Issa and the mother went on trial- Zein was offered a plea bargain: If he pleaded guilty, they would go lighter on the mother. He refused- both were sentenced to death- Zein died of natural causes before his death sentence so the mother would spend the rest of her life in prison. From Forensic Files watcher
