Peace without USA

Reader comment on item: Defending and Advancing Freedom

I think that Charles Fortner may be on to something. Before George Bush came to power on January 2000, the world enjoyed peace and tranquility. There was no WW1 no WW2, no Korean war, no Vietnam. Millions of Chinese did not die in Red Revolution in early 70's. Two million Iraqis and Iranians did not die in 8 year war during the 80's. Iraq did not attack Kuwait, did not fire missiles at Saudi Arabia and Israel between 1989 and 1990. Middle East Muslims did not attack Israel in 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1973. Arafat's intifada never happened. Suicide bombings in the name of Islam had not occurred in more than 20 countries:

Lebanon (1981), Kuwait (1983), Argentina (1992), Panama, Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territories (1994), Pakistan, Croatia (1995), Saudi Arabia (1996), Tanzania, Kenya (1998), Yemen, Chechnya (2000), USA, Kashmir, Afghanistan (2001), Tunisia, Indonesia, Algeria (2002), Morocco, Russia, India, Iraq, Turkey (2003), Uzbekistan and Spain (2004), United Kingdom (2005).
And USA lied about the following Muslim attacks:

Sept. 11, 2001, New York, Arlington, Va.: Attack on the World trade Center and the Pentagon (thousands killed and injured);
June 2001, India: Plot to blow up U.S. Embassy's visa section;

Early 2000, Yemen: Attempt to bomb the USS Sullivan;
Oct. 12, 2000, Yemen: Attack on USS Cole (17 killed; 39 injured);
December 1999, Los Angeles: Attempt to bomb Los Angeles International Airport;
December 1999, Jordan: Attempt to bomb tourist and biblical sites;
Aug. 7, 1998, Kenya and Tanzania: U.S. embassies bombed (301 killed; 5,000 injured);
Early 1995, Philippines: Attempt to assassinate President Clinton;
1995, Philippines: Plot to blow up 11 U.S. commercial planes over the Pacific Ocean;
Late 1994, Philippines: Plot to assassinate Pope John Paul II: plot to bomb U.S. and Israeli embassies;
Oct. 3, 1993, Somalia: Attack on U.S. servicemen (18 killed);
Dec. 1992, Yemen: Three bombings targeting U.S. troops;
And the list of wars that did not happen go on and on, like Congo, 2 million Ebos, the Sudan, Ethiopia. Fortner is right, if we could just get rid of them Americans, we would have peace in the world, except of course, all of the above conflicts which; well never really happened. And if they did, lets blame USA.
