Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Submitted by A.B. (Turkey), Nov 5, 2005 at 03:25

"God" means "ilah" in Arabic -not Allah. The tenet of Islam is "there is no GOD, only ALLAH." If ALLAH were a god then it would have said "there is GOD and that god is ALLAH." But it does NOT. On the contrary it is definitely stated at the beginning that "there is no GOD." Then it follows "only ALLAH."

So what is ALLAH if NOT GOD? Yes, what is ALLAH if not god. That should be asked and explored.

One can understand what is referred to as ALLAH only after one understands that "there is no god". Otherwise, one WILL KEEP CALLING HIS IMAGE OF GOD IN HIS MIND as ALLAH, without learning anything from Mohammed and Islam, and without realizing what ALLAH truly is.

Go to www.ahmedbaki.com, refresh your mind and read the only book ever written to explain what is referred to as ALLAH in the Koran. The book is entitled MOHAMMED'S ALLAH, and it basically explains ALLAH based on the chapter of UNITY in the Koran.
