British double standards

Reader comment on item: [London Terrorism:] British "Covenant of Security" with Islamists Ends

Submitted by Adam Klein (United States), Jul 20, 2005 at 09:24

Let's face it, Mayor Livingstone speaks for an overwhelming number of British citizens, who are very similar to the Arabs that the world calls "Palestinians". The Palestinians cheered on 9/11. They all saw unsuspecting, non-combatant, innocent American civilians burnt alive in several mini-Holocausts. It works out just fine for them as Livingstone says, there is no difference between Likud and Hamas.

And let's not forget Tony Blair racing accross the Atlantic to beg George Bush to pressure Israel the moment Bush won his 2nd term. And then there are Blair's sequences of massively hateful statements blaming all of the world's problems on the one tiny Jewish nation. Oh and let's not forget that infamously cowardly little man Jack Straw practically foaming at the mouth to announce that it is "both sides" that cause the slaughter of Jewish civilians.

My heart goes out to the victims of 7/7 and their families. They all face a lifetime of excruciating agony and heart wrenching pain, both physical and emotional.
