Take comfort

As a dual-national, and citizen of the US and UK, I take a small bit of solace in the knowledge that once again, our enemy has utterly and completely misjudged us-- our entire culture.

They seek to disabuse us of the western notions of individualism and plurality- but they fail to see that it is precisely our pursuit of individual rights that binds us together, rather than making us vulnerable as a unit.

Unfortunately we will suffer more such outrages until the leaders of this world follow the cues of Churchill and Roosevelt, and awaken to beat back this scourge.
