Identifying the enemy

Reader comment on item: [London Terrorism:] British "Covenant of Security" with Islamists Ends

Submitted by J Schamroth (Israel), Jul 9, 2005 at 15:42

Immediately after the latest London bombing, the G8 gathering in Scotland released an announcement that "The war against terror will continue".

Once again they making a grave error by contravening two of Mr Pipes' cardinal rules:

1) Terror is a tactic, not an enemy.
2) One must identify one's enemy in order to challenge him.

The Western world, by persisting with its political correctness and liberal outlook will continue to be on the receiving end of terror attacks. And by not even mentioning "The war on militant Islam", it will be totally unable to tackle the problem.
