Muslims have a corrupted view of the true God

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Submitted by Ralph (United States), Jun 29, 2005 at 20:10

Obviously with the differences, either Allah = Yahweh and one (or both) have
some misunderstandings abou thim OR their different gods. It's my understanding
that Arabs were all polytheists until Mohammed so if Abraham was right and it
was Ishmael that was almost sacrificed, somehow "Islam" got lost among the the
children of Ishmael. It's easier to believe that a group that has kept the faith
like the Jews thru all their trials would be more faithful. Among all the
ancient religions, only the Jews (at least some) kept their faith even after
their country was wiped out. Christianity kept their faith and grew in numbers
even when no nation called themselves Christian, as is pretty much the case
today. Muslims began as a warriar nation conquering lands, even in the time of
Mohammed...
