No slaves in Western nations? Please spare us yourself. It may not be legal anywhere but it happens everywhere.

As for the slave trade out of Nubia, it was organized by Christian Nubians who traded slaves for wine, wheat and other commodities. No nation has clean hands when it comes to slavery, not Muslims or Christians or pagans. The bulk of slaves from west Africa were sold by pagans and bought by Christians, so you needn't try to blame everything on "Arab slave traders". I don't even know where you get this "More African Blacks were sent East to China" stuff from. It's certainly not from Patrick Manning's computer demographics of the African slave trade. Seriously, do some research.
