that the poster was actually requesting that everyone just deal with the fact that Islam will be supreme and much as you say to a child: we can do this the hard way or we can do this the easy way.

If given the choice of 1. convert, 2. dhimmi status, or 3. death, I choose option 4 which is none of the above. No, I will not just sit back and allow Islam to dominate, I'll choose the "hard way".
