As even this column says, it would be better for Wilders career to be condemned. And with his present popularity he hardly needs support for finding good lawyers. But he needs help to prove that Islam -- yes, the religion, the Koran and the prophet -- is the problem. So that "all Westerners who cherish their civilization" would quite probably be better off without that help.
