Something is missingReader comment on item: Peace Process or War Process? Submitted by Wallace Edward Brand (United States), Sep 22, 2009 at 17:18 Dear Mr. Pipes, Thanks for your excellent analysis. I have agreed completely with this view for some time. However I note from several examples over the past 60 years that when in the course of war with the Palestinians Israel is on the defensive and apparently losing, the US and the International Community are silent. But when the tide turns and Israel commences to be seen as winning, there is a universal call for an armistice. It seems to me that to develop your strategy to a necessary completion you must suggest what tactics Israel can utilize to resist such a push and so to continue to fight to crush the Palestinians to achieve its needed goal despite such a world outcry? Very truly yours, Wallace Brand Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
