The right choicesReader comment on item: Peace Process or War Process? Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Sep 22, 2009 at 11:40 Once again, Dr. Pipes has written an article that combines intelligence with wit, research with experience. The last sentence sums it up nicely: "In the meantime, an ally needs to win." Does not history tell us that to subdue one's enemy, there has to be a victory? No amount of negotiations have every produced a true and lasting peace anywhere in the world, at any time throughout the centuries. It is high time that the weakest links in the Israeli cabinet are set aside, and only the strong and brave with an insight to the future be allowed to succeed. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
