But, Israeli Mentality has changed.

Reader comment on item: Peace Process or War Process?

1. By now, many Israelis, true brains against the Islamist enemy, decided to go through high tech area, meaning after the American dream or financial dream rather than defending or working towards defending Israel like in the past. How this flux can be redirected back towards having minds working for Israel? Not to forget the run in Wall Street starting in the 90s...

Not surprisingly, we see Microsoft investments in the Palestinian area for example, yet the Arab "brains" do not give up their fight towards genociding Israelis…Many come to the US with scholarships to rather spend their time in Universities disseminating hatred and personal false victimhood.

2. By now, Islamists occupy glamorous position in terms of indoctrination of the western civilization. Starting from the left, to powerful financiers of the extreme left, against Israel, to getting support from self hatred Jews and also so many westerners, especially Americans that "see" in the Palestinians (terrorist) cause, a way to play hero, finding as a result meaning in their so empty and poor lives.

3. Islamist Shariah Finance today occupy with prestige key positions all over the world. With this crisis, it becomes another front of terrorism to be defeated.

Until 1993 we had the above realities but lightly, far lightly in comparison to what we have today.

In my understanding, it is not only Israel showing herself tough and adopting the same manners it had before 1993, but also hard work outside Israel shall go on to help convince Washington to truly proceed towards peace, not war, right?

And, to be honest, I see no man in Washington truly wanting to resolve the conflict.

I see Washington as weak and coward. Unfortunately, my opinion probably clusters with the Arab world's opinion that sees in the last 2 American generations a complete submission to the "living large" style, moral deterioration and considerable apathy.

How to find the best "point" on the curve, day after day, is my question.

Anyway, thank you Dr. Pipes for this so brilliant writing of yours.

With full admiration and praise
