Just plainly dumb

The plain and regrettable truth is that both options are true. Studying Islam, its tenets and its ultimate goals is hard work, something which the politicians willingly postpone to the distant future. So EU leadership is just plainly dumb. They have neglected to do their homework.
What I have learned reading articles by Dr Pipes, the situation in the US is hardly any better. Which should not give anybody a cause for schadenfreude, we are dealing here with really serious issues. And realizing the presence of mighty spiritual powers behind all these visible phenomena wouldn't hurt.
