Mirror images

The United States and the Islamists seem to have quite a lot in common. We cannot tolerate any nation that transgresses against the tenets of capitalism, while they cannot tolerate any nation that transgresses the tenets of Islam. We would seem the perfect match... except for the fact that our military might exceeds theirs by many thousands of times. Yet we don't seem to be able to defeat them.

Whereas it is certainly conceivable that we might bankrupt ourselves, attempting to keep this bloated military machine in existence in a war against all nations that would oppose our dominance in their affairs. It would be like the elephant, so frightened by the mouse that it keels over and dies of a heart attack. My suggestion: lighten up. The mighty US of A is not about to fall under the tyrannical crescent of Islam. Get over it guys, you'll be the death of us yet!
