Our Military

Here we are, about seven years after 9/11 and still fighting two wars and not winning.

Our valiant young men and women are sent into combat, ill trained, with not enough protective armor and in insufficient numbers. Until recently, the Pentagon has been waging wars with a WWII psyche. We keep hearing positive reports from the military brass on both battlefields just as we heard from General Westmoreland during the Viet Nam War.

When oh when will we get a president and Secretary of Defense who will clean house at the Pentagon and replace these incompetent military hacks with military personnel who will get the job done. We have spent trillions of dollars on military equipment, including the Sargeant York tanks, which was scrapped and helicopters that can't perform their intended mission.

The enemy we face today is even more threatening to our way of life than the Fascists and Communists. I hope that the American public will wake up before it is too late.
