Reader comment on item: More on Those Alcohol-shy Taxi Drivers

Submitted by nabil (United States), Apr 16, 2008 at 05:19

i allways take taxi, i live in minneap[olis never encountred such a problem.

taxi driver they don't have liquor licenses so of course we all agree on no open bottel inside the cab. other wise the cabby will fined a big ticket if we got caught drinking in his cab, with possible suspension,

but with my expence i allays a ask if am carring a closed buttel with me if it,s possible to bring it in, the driver usuly have no objection or i will be asked to put in the trunk of the car. so the driver will not be worried that liquor will be opened inside.

but sincerely i think it's a big polimic over some bs and over media are doing a heck of a job covering this and briteny spears new escapades ;-)
