Loved your posting.
Just one thing to point out since I have no time left now, but couldn't miss to say that:
In regards to the 17 languages printing....You know I'm a foreigner LEGAL in this country.
I simply do NOT understand why to print in ANY foreign language.
When you come here, are active and accept the country, you OUGHT right away to study English and you have the OBLIGATION to day after day improve its knowledge.
There is NOT such a thing as to impose your language, to appease foreign languages speakers, b/c they do not know nothing....It is OUR, THEIR OBLIGATION to learn the languages of the country. What kins of lethargy is that?
It is a chutzpah beyond human comprehension to impose the learning of Spanish in schools.
English is the language of the current "I hope still- "Roman Empire of the West". It is the most well taught language in the world, the language that has more publications; it uses an alphabet common to many languages as required, etc....
In my country, you ought to learn English to survive in the world, that what I have always heard..."Ah.....if you do not know English, you are from the starting point fired, and will end up starving on the street....". English is imperative.....
Well, looks like is becoming not only non- imperative anymore, but also disregarded.
Look at the the following:
Shocking Senatorial Votes
The following senators voted against making English the official language of America :
