The Canadian Cop-out!

Several months ago, Vancouver taxi companies came up with this solution. If a driver refuses to take a blind person with dog, the cabbie has to call the cab company for another willing cab and wait with the blind person until the second cab arrives.

TO: Canuk, what kind of "solution" is that! That's not a solution, that's a cop-out. The solution should be straightforward. Like this: To a Muslim Cab driver, why did you think of coming to Canada in the first place? You want to be a Cab driver and get licensed O. K., but there's got to be no discrimination --- not in this country!----blind, handicapped, Christian, Jew, tall, short, skinny, fat, brown , white or black--or we pull your license and you get out of the cab business and out of Canada . Period. Go drive in Saudi Arabia.
