Rule of hatred

India was ruled for 1200 years by men who hated its culture and loved its wealth. No other country in the history experienced the kind of onslaught on India for so many years. The greatness of Indian culture lies in its endurance. In spite of destruction of temples, Nalanda University which is the world's oldest educational institution, the rich Vedic literature and persecution of Hindus Indian culture survived and continued to grow strong. Elsewhere in the world, ancient civilizations have vanished after the advent of new religions.
