Clarify pleaseReader comment on item: Identifying Moderate Muslims Submitted by Kevin Murphy (United States), Nov 30, 2004 at 10:15 Daniel,I admit that I pale in comparison to you on my knowledge of Islam, so I will ask your patience. Is moderate Islam a possibility at all? I mean, is that really the solution? If you rely on the Koran and it speaks of jihad and the view of the world for an Islamist is only one that is completely under Allah's rule, then how can there be a moderate muslim faith? Muslims seem to follow the same rule of biblical fundamentalism that certain Protestants suffer from and that is literal alone. How can you read the Koran with the literal sense as your guide and come up moderate? Please help clarify.
