Moderate Moslem DefinitionReader comment on item: Identifying Moderate Muslims Submitted by Peter Faulkes (Australia), Nov 5, 2006 at 17:51 This Definition is just a dream and a concoction. Having lived in Moslem countries, I have to say there is no Moslem who would subscribe to these beliefs. In fact, all Moslems (and others) in an "Islamic Republic", willingly support the opposite of this definition. Examples are Pakistan and the Gulf countries, Malaysia, Moslem part of India. and parts of Indonesia. While living in Indonesia, a thief from a Kampong nearby had his arm cut off - Shariah law. Yet Indonesia was and is not under Shariah Law but certain freedoms it does have are based on the Pancasila introduced by President Sukarno in the sixties. The writer of "Moderate Moslem Definition" should really study the matter and get it right.
