VIVA IRAN AND TURKEY TOGETHER NEW ALLIANCE
Reader comment on item: Turkey, Still a Western Ally?

Submitted by mehmet khasabian (Canada), Dec 5, 2007 at 15:44

Why turkey is moving eastwards?

because they see that Iran, which did not move west became stronger in 20 years revolution, despite the embargo and western harrassment. Iran is the only Islamic country with welfare, health benifits, retirement plans, strong military, better metro than new york, no homeless soldiers etc..although that does not translate in US dollar, who cares. The most important of all is that turks realized at the end that going west is a lose lose deal and the west is big capitalist exploiter no more. so good luck turkey moving east and also good luck the USA moving down down even below the antarctic..

turkey no longer needs european suckers..we turks lost a lot bidding in the west. now with iran only time knows what is upcoming.

a message for the arabic gulf lazy chubby states. now you are officially inviting ahmadinejad to the gulf states meeting! strange, you only follow the stick like your camels...the bigger stick now is iranian, so kiss the hands of the ayatollah and when you are done, kiss the hand of the ottoman sultan..america is no longer an option for survival, rather it is your option for suicide..

Thank you for showing my opinion.
