Turkey and The European Union

Daniel Pipes is right again.This time about Turkey .His last sentence ending "Turkey must be denied a membership of European Union " is perfectly brief and true.

Admitting Turkey to Europen Union would be an unmitigated disaster for the European culture.

Turkey chose a long time ago to march to a different drummer. It tried to win Europe for Islam .Unsuccessfully. Now Europe would open the door to a completely different people who know nothing about European transformations in its painful history. Turkey does not belong to Europe.

Not because it is not gegraphically in Europe, but because it represents a very different civilization.
